Serving families in need of shelter since 2005

About the Welcome House.

Welcome House, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving families in need of shelter since 2005. The Welcome House is a perfect place for a family who found themselves in a very tough situation.  They are experiencing homelessness either for the first time in their lives or they fell onto bad times again.  While they are here, they will work to get back on their feet with our Case Manager.  They no longer have to be in survival mode and going in circles.  They are provided everything they need in our house including a loving, compassionate, and welcoming environment.

Families face troubles too!  We keep families together as a family unit. If we didn’t have Welcome House these families would be vulnerable to the elements and on the streets fending for themselves. Here they get a warm bed, shower, food, and learning life skills, and other experiences that would be helpful in the future.

Mainly we are a children shelter while parents get their life back together.  The children are the most important part of this unit, because they are never the ones at fault for what the family is experiencing.  We understand this.  We give them a safe and warm place to stay including a playroom. The families have a community room where they could watch tv, read books, or just relax.  Also, there are computers available to the families for researching, school, or just checking their social media.

Donations made to Welcome House, Inc. are tax-deductible as allowed by IRS regulations.  Our Federal EIN number is 42-1633755.
